How we charge
We are a fee based firm and as such our interests are directly aligned with your interests. This also enables us to offer you truly impartial advice and counsel. Our fees are transparent and the review fee is linked to the success of our clients’ portfolios.
We have three separate fees for the financial planning process.
The advice fee: this fee covers the cost of the initial recommendations. The amount which will vary from £600 to £5,000 depending on the complexity of your affairs, is fixed and we will agree it with you prior to starting any work. The advice fee covers the work involved in gathering the necessary information, determining your aims and objectives and undertaking the relevant research with consideration of your existing arrangements. We will then provide a written recommendation highlighting any apparent gaps in your planning and conduct a further meeting to discuss the advice.
The implementation fee: if you are satisfied with the recommendations you can then instruct us to implement the advice and this will be subject to our implementation fee. This fee covers the cost of accurate and timely implementation of the products/strategy. Our implementation fee is based on a percentage of the capital being invested from 2% to 1% depending on value of assets under management.
The review fee: this fee covers the cost of ongoing servicing, reviews, and portfolio management. We have five levels of ongoing services depending on your requirements and the level of funds under management. We typically charge a fee equivalent to 1% pa of the value of investments under management.
Some fees may be subject to VAT and we will inform you where this is the case.
